Last updated: 29/10/2025

By engaging RL Contracting for any work or by accessing our website, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms outline the conditions under which we provide our contracting and related services, including on-site work, quotations, and communication. They also cover basic use of our website. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should refrain from using our website or engaging our services.

1. Services Provided

RL Contracting provides professional installation and maintenance services throughout Western Australia, including the Southwest, Peel, and Perth regions.

Our services include:

  • Supply and installation of intercom systems

  • Supply and installation of CCTV systems

  • TV antenna installation

  • AV media system installation

  • CCTV maintenance

  • Phone and data point installation and relocation

  • Fault repairs and technical support

All work is carried out to a high professional standard and in accordance with applicable Australian regulations.

2. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided by RL Contracting are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

Quoted prices are based on the information available at the time and may be subject to adjustment if the scope of work changes or unforeseen site conditions arise.

Acceptance of a quote constitutes agreement to these Terms of Service.

3. Payments

A materials deposit is required two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled site booking. This deposit covers the cost of materials and products to be ordered for the job. This is non-refundable.

Work will not commence, and materials will not be ordered, until this deposit is received in full.

The remaining balance is due upon completion of works, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment methods accepted include bank transfer, card, and Zip (subject to approval).

Failure to make payment in full may result in withholding of certificates, warranty documentation, or future services until the account is settled.

4. Cancellations

RL Contracting does not charge call-out or cancellation fees. However, clients are requested to provide reasonable notice if they need to reschedule or cancel a booking to allow materials or time allocations to be managed appropriately.

5. Returns and Refunds

RL Contracting complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Because our work involves on-site services, completed labour cannot be “returned” once performed. However, products supplied and installed by RL Contracting are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

If a product supplied by us is found to be faulty, we will assist in facilitating a repair, replacement, or refund, in line with the manufacturer’s policy and your rights under the ACL.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you experience an issue with any supplied equipment.

6. Warranty

RL Contracting provides a lifetime warranty on workmanship.
This covers the quality of the installation and wiring performed by us.
Product warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers and vary depending on the brand and product type. These periods are often disclosed in your final installation certificates and paperwork.

Damage caused by misuse, third-party interference, or environmental factors is not covered under any warranty.

7. Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to ensure safe and reliable installations, RL Contracting is not liable for:

  • Damage caused by third parties, environmental factors, or client misuse

  • Losses resulting from system downtime or interruption

  • Indirect or consequential damages beyond the cost of repair or replacement
